I’m obsessed with this Anthony Powell costume from the live-action 101 Dalmatians worn by Glenn Close as Cruella de Vil. This is the costume where Cruella makes her enterance in the film. Her version of a suit for a modern businesswoman features exaggeratedly pointed shoulders, a corseted waist, and a thigh-high slit in the skirt. She accessorizes with a veiled hat, skunk fur muff with an matching attached stole trailing behind, black-nailed gloves, and dagger-sharp stilettos. The costume is covered in contrasting black and white sequins.

In this post, I have to give a credit to Tiffany for the jewelry collection that is made for Luhrmann’s movie The Great Gatsby. The collection is made in a collaboration with the Oscar winning costume designer, Catherine Martin. You remember Moulin Rouge? I believe, she is a hard working/super talented designer.
I can’t really decide if my favorite work is The Savoy headpiece or bracelet-pearl-diamond-ring. And it’s not a secret, if the brooch is priced 200,000; the headpiece can sell easy for up to 1Mil. Price upon request…
